Vertigo Makes “Horrid Henry” Into 3D

Vertigo (StreetDance 3D) and Novel Entertainment are teaming for a 3D film adaptation of the popular “Horrid Henry” children’s books says The BBC.

The most successful children’s literary character in the UK behind only Harry Potter, Francesca Simon’s books started in 1994 and there are presently eighteen in total.

Henry himself is a devilish child who usually gets up to no good and has a rivalry with a character named Moody Margaret. The works have previously been adapted as an animated TV series, a computer game and a stage show.

No casting is yet set, but filming kicks off in October or November.
