Vera Farmiga has scored a leading role in Michael Dougherty’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” currently in the works at Legendary.
“Stranger Things” breakout star Millie Bobby Brown plays the daughter of Farmiga and Kyle Chandler’s characters in this follow-up to the 2014 reboot of the classic Japanese monster property.
Ken Watanabe is reportedly the only original cast member likely to return for the second installment. Dougherty helms from a script he penned with Zach Shields with a March 22nd 2019 release planned.
Farmiga currently stars in the final season of “Bates Motel” and will soon be seen in the Liam Neeson thriller “The Commuter” which has been delayed and will now open January 12th next year.
