The Jean-Claude Van Damme heist drama “Swelter” has sold out all of its international markets in the wake of the American Film Market.
The story centers on a gang that steals more than $100 million from Vegas’ Luxor Casino. All but one of the five gang members are captured and jailed.
Ten years later, after blasting their way out of a maximum security prison, the quartet go on the trail of their former accomplice and the remaining $10 million in stolen cash.
Alfred Molina, Lennie James, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Freya Tingley also star in the film which Keith Parmar directed from his own script. A North American rights deal is in negotiations.
