USA Network’s supernatural thriller series “Falling Water” has been cancelled with the network opting to not order a third season of the series.
The series follows three unrelated people whose worlds collide when they discover newfound abilities to manipulate dreams – and, by extension, the dreamers themselves. David Ajala, Will Yun Lee and Lizzie Brochere starred.
“Brotherhood” creator Blake Masters, “The Walking Dead” executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, the late Henry Bromell and filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo executive produced the series which was the network’s lowest-rated series in linear ratings – scoring just 461,000 viewers and 0.14 rating in Live+Same Day.
That number dropped to 349,000 viewers and a 0.09 in the second season. The series should have been cancelled after the first season, but good DVR gains along with steady viewership and an Amazon SVOD deal granted it a renewal. That’s not going to happen this time.
