Variety reports that crime drama “Black Water Transit” began filming this week for Capitol Films.

Laurence Fishburne, Brittany Snow and Karl Urban have joined the cast, Matthew Chapman adapted the screenplay and Tony Kaye (“American History X”) is directing.
Music video helmer Samuel Bayer was slated to direct Bruce Willis in an adaptation of the property two years ago. Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson have also previously been linked.
