Though CBS has cancelled its freshman drama “Unforgettable”, the decision was close enough that the procedural is exploring a move to cable reports Deadline.
Sony Pictures TV and CBS TV Studios have reportedly had preliminary conversations with TNT and Lifetime about potentially picking up the series.
The decision to cancel the show came as a surprise as it averaged 12 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in adults 18-49.
Less of a shock is A&E’s decision to scrap its drama series “Breakout Kings” after two seasons reports The Live Feed.
The series debuted to 2.8 million viewers in March last year but had lost more than half that by its second season finale in late April. Said drop off wasn’t so bad when DVR figures were included.
