The finale of the eight-episode first season aired on Tuesday night with the series itself averaging a 1.2 rating and 3.8 million total viewers in Nielsen live-plus-same day numbers, an 81% lift from ABC’s performance in the same time period over the course of the same four weeks a year ago.
The news was better for shows on cable network TNT with renewal orders being handed out for “Animal Kingdom,” “Wrecked” and “Angie Tribeca”. ‘Kingdom’ has been the most successful of the three, launching last month to an impressive 6.7 million viewers per episode and growing.
