Sony has officially announced “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection” for PS4 which goes on sale October 7th in Europe and October 9th in North America.
The bundle brings all three of games from the PlayStation 3’s biggest exclusive franchise to the PS4 several months ahead of the release of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” sometime in 2016.
There’s one catch – only the single-player campaigns of the titles will be available, so the well-regarded multiplayer of the second game is not included. What is included though for MP fans is access to the “Uncharted 4” multiplayer beta later this year.
Bluepoint Games, who handled the HD remasters of the “God of War,” “Shadow of the Colossus” and “Metal Gear Solid” series for PS3 and “Flower” for PS4, are behind the remastering of the Naughty Dog titles. All three “Uncharted” games have been upgraded to 60FPS and will boast better lighting, textures, and models.
Gameplay improvements are also coming but will be revealed later, likely at E3 in a few weeks.
