Fans of “Wicked City,” ABC’s high-profile 1980’s Sunset Strip-set drama that was yanked off the air after just three episodes screened this fall, will now get some level of closure.
As of yesterday, Hulu has made un-aired episodes of the canceled series available. A total of seven episodes are now up on the streaming service, and one of the show’s producers tells the trades that the eighth and final episode produced will be made available as well.
Ed Westwick starred as a serial killer in the series which fell to a dismal 0.4 rating and 1.7 million viewers around the time of the third episode went to air. It was quickly yanked from the network.
Last month, executive producer Laurie Zaks revealed that all eight episodes had been shot and the story has a “great ending… the story is complete” which makes the series suitable to be picked up by a streaming service.
