Uma Thurman has joined the cast of the ten-episode supernatural drama series “Chambers” for Netflix and Super Deluxe.
“Traffic” and “Syriana” scribe Stephen Gaghan executive produces the series in which Thurman is set to play Nancy, the mother of a recently deceased heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient of the organ.
As the young woman becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life, the closer she gets to uncovering the sinister truth.
Nancy meanwhile discovers her daughter may not be as dead as she thought as this organ receiver starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased.
“Chambers” was created and written by Leah Rachel who will showrun alongside Akela Cooper. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon will direct the pilot and is also executive producing.
