In unexpected news, Ubisoft has officially announced “Far Cry: Primal,” the fifth game in the popular “Far Cry” franchise which is scoring a release sooner than you think.
Taking the action back to the Stone Age complete with giant mammoths and sabretooth tigers, you play the last survivor of your hunting group. You must fend off fierce predators and outsmart enemy tribes to conquer the land of Oros and become the Apex Predator.
Ubisoft have released both the announcement trailer and a behind the scenes featurette for the game which is set to debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23rd next year.
Both “Mirrors Edge: Catalyst” and “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” are set to score a release on the same day, kicking off a busy Spring which will also see the release of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” “Tom Clancy’s The Division,” the “Hitman” reboot, “Quantum Break,” “Dark Souls III” and potentially games like “Dishonored 2” and the new gen reboots of “Ratchet & Clank” and “Doom”.
