Twist Water Girl Downhill Set Dates

Arclight Films has sold North American rights for “Twist,” the Michael Caine and Lena Headey-led modern-retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic “Oliver Twist,” to Saban Films. The film follows a gifted graffiti artist who is lured into a street gang headed by a father figure named Fagin (Caine) who plans a series of audacious art thefts. Deep Water
Adrian Lyne’s long-awaited erotic thriller “Deep Water” has begun production and has set a November 13th 2020 release date. Based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas play an attractive young married couple whose mind games with each other take a twisted turn when people around them start turning up dead. Staggering Girl
“Call Me By Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino will debut his new short film “The Staggering Girl” on the streaming service MUBI on February 15th. Guadagnino and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli teamed for the project which will follow a woman who must go to Rome to care for her ageing mother. Michael Mitnick penned the script for the film which is said to be something of an ad for Valentino couture. [Source: Bloody Disgusting]

Fox Searchlight has set a February 14th 2020 release date for the Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell-led black comedy “Downhill”. A U.S. remake of “Force Majeure,” the film follows the story of how a narrow avalanche escape during a ski vacation in the Alps throws a seemingly picture-perfect family into disarray as they are forced to reevaluate life, and how they truly feel about each other.
