We all know HBO’s “Game of Thrones” is the biggest TV production on the planet right now, but the sheer scale of it might boggle your mind. The upcoming fifth season required 240 days of filming with 166 cast members, over 1000 crew members and over 5,000 extras on 151 sets in five countries.
Some fans still whinge about the show only pumping out ten episodes a year, many of whom seem to be blissfully unaware of the sheer level of work that goes into making this show. Today, HBO has brought online their full ‘Day in the Life’ special which demonstrates just how hard it is to shoot a typical day on this series.
