USA Network has released a new three-part promo for the upcoming “Bourne” spinoff action-drama series “Treadstone” as the three main lead characters played by Jeremy Irvine, Brian J. Smith and Han Hyo Joo become the lethal assassins they were trained to be.
“Treadstone” explores the origin story and present-day actions of a CIA black ops program that uses behavior modification protocol to turn its agents into nearly unstoppable superhuman assassins. The series follows new sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously ‘awakened’ to resume their deadly missions. The series begins on USA Network on October 15th.
Next, Amazon Prime has released the official trailer for its romantic comedy anthology series “Modern Love” which boasts an astonishing cast including Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, John Slattery, Andrew Scott, Andy Garcia, Olivia Cooke, Sofia Boutella and John Gallagher Jr. Each episode of the half-hour series will explore love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms and the series is available from October 16th.
AMC has released a new Whisperers-themed promo for the tenth season of “The Walking Dead” as the dead-skin wearing villains, led by Alpha (Samantha Morton) and Beta (Ryan Hurst), share their vows. The new spot comes ahead of the season premiere on Sunday, October 6th.
Finally, Hulu has released the official trailer for its limited series “Looking for Alaska” based on the best-selling novel by John Green. Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth lead the series which also stars Denny Love, Jay Lee, Landry Bender and Ron Cephas Jones. The show premieres October 18th.
The series is told through the eyes of teenager Miles ‘Pudge’ Halter, as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with a girl, Alaska Young, and after her unexpected death, he and his close friends attempt to uncover the truth behind her death and make sense of it.
