TV Promos: Child, Outlander, Mouth, Supergirl

A new trailer has been released for “The Child in Time,” a new telemovie adaptation of “Atonement” author Ian McEwan’s novel starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kelly MacDdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore and Saskia Reeves.

Cumberbatch plays a children’s book author whose daughter vanishes from a supermarket, tearing his life apart, but doesn’t touch upon the sci-fi elements of the novel which include dystopias and time travel. The telemovie screens in the UK this Fall.

Next up, Starz has released a ‘This Season On’ trailer for the remainder of the thirteen episode third season run of “Outlander” for this year following the recent season premiere. Based on the third novel in the series, “Voyager,” the episodes tackle not only the reunion of a separated by time Claire and Jamie, but a trip to Jamaica as well.

Third today is the full trailer for “Big Mouth,” an adult animated series from Nick Kroll about a bunch of young boys and girls going through that most awkward of times – puberty. Trouble is there’s legitimate monsters that are the cause of all this. The series premieres September 29th.
