Game of Thrones
In the wake of the pirated leak of an advanced DVD screener of the first four episodes of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” this season, the cable network has announced a change to its policy.

HBO has confirmed that it is shifting to a streaming-only policy for advance reviews of its programming, ending years of mailed out DVDs to critics and journalists. The shift takes affect as of Tuesday with the next batch of “Veep” episodes to be made available through HBO’s secure streaming site. [Source: Variety]

Video Synchronicity
A new report suggests David Fincher’s 1983 Los Angeles-set music video comedy series “Video Synchronicity” has been given a series order by HBO. Sam Page, Jason Flemyng, Kerry Condon, Elizabeth Lail, Corbin Bernsen and Paz Vega star.

The story follows Robby (Charlie Rowe), a wide-eyed guy who drops out of college and drives to Hollywood with dreams of directing a sci-fi epic. He lands a job as a production assistant for a company that makes music videos. [Source: THR]

FX’s drama “Tyrant,” about an American family drawn into a Middle Eastern conflict, returns June 16th and the network has released a new trailer for the second season.
