A new behind-the-scenes photo from the “Doctor Who” 50th anniversary special “The Day of the Doctor” has gone online which you can see on the right. Eight weeks out from airing, the BBC have yet to release a trailer for the special. [Source: Twitter]

CBS has renewed “Unforgettable” for a 13-episode third season to air next Summer. Also next Summer, ABC’s “Mistresses” has been given a second season.

ITV has renewed “Law & Order: UK” for an eighth series, while Fox has given a 22-episode fifth season order for its animated comedy “Bob’s Burgers”. [Source: Carter]

Gold Rush
Get set to go back down the glory hole as Discovery Channel has set a two-hour premiere on October 25th for the fourth season of “Gold Rush”.

The new season follows a new dig in the jungles of the Amazon that is said to hold five times more gold than in the Klondike. [Source: The Live Feed]

The Walking Dead
Alanna Masterson (“First Day,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) has joined the cast of the fourth season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. Her role is unspecified and will come into the season around halfway through.

Several sources suggest her character could be that of Tara Chalmers from the comic. Several new photos from the season premiere are also up at Zap2It.
