ITV have unveiled the trailer for the upcoming fourth season of “Whitechapel”. The new series will follow the format of last year – six episodes divided into three two-part stories. No specific air date is stated, other than sometime this Fall. This season will deal with “historical precedents such as witchcraft, cold war espionage, ghoulish Victorian surgeons, cryptozoology and hidden horrors in the East End’s underground tunnels.”
Someday, Someday, Maybe
The CW has picked up actress Lauren Graham’s best-selling novel “Someday, Someday, Maybe” as a TV series. Graham will pen the script for the potential TV version of the book, with Ellen DeGeneres also signing on to executive produce.
The hour-long drama follows a young woman who has six months left on her three-year aim to forge a career as an actress in New York. [Source: Digital Spy]
Untitled Tina Fey Sitcom
It’s official, Fox is getting into bed with Tina Fey. The network has given a series order for Fey’s new sitcom about a women’s college on Fire Island that has just opened its door to men for the first time.
Fey’s show is skipping the pilot process and going immediately to series, a more frequent occurrence these days with shows like “Hannibal” and “Under the Dome” doing the same. The series is expected to premiere sometime next year. [Source: TV Fanatic]
