Hell on Wheels
After its troubled production with various people coming and going, the third season of AMC’s western “Hell on Wheels” is finally hitting the airwaves on August 10th. AMC has also posted the first trailer for the new season.

Syfy has renewed their deal for the Canadian sci-fi series “Continuum,” picking up the proposed thirteen episode third season.

Showcase renewed the show back in June and the new episodes are scheduled to go to air in the U.S. next Summer. [Source: The Live Feed]

The Great Escape
The BBC is developing a serial TV drama series based on the iconic 1963 Steve McQueen film ‘The Great Escape’.

GK-TV and Open Circle are developing the project which comes out of another deal The BBC has with Open Circle for a series based on Anne Holt’s novels about wheelchair-bound female detective Hanne Wilhelmsen. [Source: Screen Daily]

Parks and Recreation
“Parks and Recreation” regulars Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones are set to exit the NBC series midway through the upcoming sixth season.
