The Walking Dead
AMC’s “The Walking Dead” broke ratings records yet again last night with the third season’s mid-season premiere pulling in the largest audience ever in the show’s history.

The series scored 12.3 million viewers for the 9/8c premiere, beating the previous record of 10.9 million viewers for the Season 3 premiere back in October. It also pulled in 7.7 million in adults 18-49. [Source: The Huffington Post]

The CW
The CW Network has announced that it has renewed three of its popular series – “Arrow,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural”. The shows will be back for their second, fifth and ninth season respectively in the Fall. [Source: The Hollywood Life]

Under the Dome
CBS and Amazon have inked a SVOD licensing deal for the new Stephen King series “Under the Dome” which premieres on CBS on June 24th.

Amazon Prime members will have unlimited streaming of all episodes four days after their initial broadcast at no additional cost on all compatible Amazon Instant Video devices. [Source: Variety]

Thomas Kretschmann will play the vampire hunter Van Helsing in NBC’s upcoming “Dracula” series starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the vampire.

In this interpretation, Van Helsing’s professor character is obsessed by the idea of revenge. In fact, he is potentially more of a public threat than Dracula. [Source: Digital Spy]
