Unforgettable
CBS has opted to cancel its Summer drama series “Unforgettable” after three seasons. Poppy Montgomery stars in the procedural drama which averaged six million total viewers at the end of its third season run last month. Untitled Patricia Cornwell Series
Bestselling crime novelist Patricia Cornwell is writing an original drama pilot for CBS and ABC Studios. The untitled project revolves around an unorthodox female police detective in San Diego who is haunted by her past.

Cornwell, Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts wll shape the concept into a TV series and executive produce. Cornwell is best known for the series of novels focusing on the character of medical examiner Kay Scarpetta. [Source: Variety]

12 Monkeys
Syfy has announced a January 16th 2015 premiere date for its upcoming TV series adaptation of the 1996 Terry Gilliam sci-fi film “12 Monkeys?.

Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull and Kirk Acevedo star in the story of a man from a desolate future who time travels back to present day in a bid to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that wipes out much of humanity. [Source: EW]

Agent Carter
Kyle Bornheimer (“Brooklyn Nine Nine,” “Veronica Mars”) has joined the cast of Marvel’s “Agent Carter” limited series on ABC. It is slated to premiere in January.

Bornheimer will play Agent Ray Krzemniski, an original creation and a recurring character who will butt heads with Agent Carter throughout the season. [Source: EW]
