With filming for the fourth season of the HBO series soon to wrap, a network spokesperson confirms that Scott Foley has been cast to play a major role in the finale. If HBO picks up the series for a fifth season, Foley is expected to resume the role as a recurring character.

“V” showrunner Scott Rosenbaum is set to write the pilot script for FX’s pirate drama series “Port Royal” which Graham King and Gale Anne Hurd will produce.

Set in the late 17th century on the island of Jamaica, the story chronicles the namesake port’s notorious rise as the “richest and wickedest city” in the new world, and as a self-governing safe haven for cutthroat pirates, corrupt politicians and ruthless merchants. [Source: The Live Feed]

Just after Lucy Punch got cast in the female lead earlier this week, Jason Patric has now scored the male lead of Christian Walker in the upcoming FX series “Powers”.

Hawaii Five-0
“Lost” veteran Terry O’Quinn has scored a pivotal recurring role on the series as a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) in Coronado, and served with his father in Vietnam.

O’Quinn’s character will bring about some answers to long-standing mysteries concerning the murder of McGarrett’s mother and father. [TV Line]

Game of Thrones
The first-season finale of “Game of Thrones” on Sunday hit a new series high of three million viewers for the 9PM and 3.9 million for the night combined.
