The first season of twenty-six episodes is due to arrive this Spring and ITV has enough confidence in the material that a second season has already been picked up for a 2016 broadcast. Twin Peaks
Fans got excited the other day when it was officially confirmed that Kyle MacLachlan would be returning to the role of Agent Dale Cooper for David Lynch’s upcoming nine-episode “Twin Peaks” follow-up series on Showtime.

He may not be the only one returning though as a report has emerged that both Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee are rumored to be coming back to the series, even though their various characters weren’t exactly alive by the end of the show’s run. [Source: Bloody Disgusting]

Revenge & Castle
Despite sagging ratings, ABC president Paul Lee used this week’s TCA Winter Tour to say “Revenge” is a “critical brand for us”. Even so, he wouldn’t confirm if the series had been renewed but did suggest some possible rebooting: “We have some great storylines coming up … and there are ways to reinvent it, too”.

He did though indicate that “Castle” will be getting an eighth season, though stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s contracts are due to expire this spring. [Source: TV Line]
