Game of Thrones
Some new set photos from the eighth season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” have gone online and confirm Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) have some sort of confrontation early on in the final batch of episodes. Filming is expected to last until late in the year, with the eighth season slated to premiere early-mid 2019. [Source: Digital Spy]

Hard Sun
The U.S. trailer is out for “Luther” creator Neil Cross’ new apocalyptic cop show “Hard Sun” on Hulu and the BBC. The six-part miniseries kicks off on Hulu from March 7th.

Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn play British cops investigating the death of a hacker uncover details about an impending apocalypse, they find themselves on the run and trying to make sense of a world where time is running out for everyone.

Comedy Central and Daniel Tosh have extended their contract deal which will see three additional seasons of viral video-themed series “Tosh.0” staying with Comedy Central through 2020. The tenth season of the series is set to debut on Tuesday, March 27th and marks the longest-running live-action primetime series on the network. [Source: Deadline]

The Punisher
New character breakdowns for the second season of “Marvel’s The Punisher” on Netflix have gone online, breakdowns that suggest the series will adapt Garth Ennis’ acclaimed “The Slavers” story arc from the mid-2000s. That storyline sees Frank Castle trying to take down a sex trafficking ring.

Marvel is looking for two series regulars to play the characters of 16-year-old street urchin Annie Bier and thirtysomething therapist Kim Davis. The site which broke the news suggests the characters are stand-ins for Viorica and Jen Cooke from the comics. [Source: That Hashtag Show]

The Walking Dead
AMC has unveiled a new featurette for the second half of the eighth season of “The Walking Dead” with the actors discussing the challenges their characters face in the new episodes set in the wake of Alexandria being destroyed and half of the Kingdom dead. The run of eight episodes kicks off on February 25th.
