Game of Thrones
SNL comedian Leslie Jones and late night host Seth Meyers have teamed up for a segment in which they watch a recent episode of the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones”.

Untitled Nuclear Submarine Drama
CBS Television Studios and Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout production company are developing a submarine drama series. David Wilcox (“Bull,” “Fringe”) penned the script and is exec producing with Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.

The premise sees the crew of an American nuclear submarine rocked by a death on board that threatens to expose a major conspiracy and trigger a potential World War III. A young female graduate and her father, the submarine’s executive officer, are the main characters.

Crash and Burn
Alex Fitzalan, Alex Wolff, Sebastian Chacon, and Camila Perez are all set to star in the Hulu coming-of-age drama series “Crash & Burn” based on Michael Hassan’s best-selling novel. The story follows three troubled suburban boys through an averted school shooting in the mid-1990s. Aaron Zelman will write and serve as showrunner.

The Romanoffs
Aaron Eckhart has joined the cast of Matthew Weiner’s upcoming Amazon drama “The Romanoffs”. The series will consist of eight hour-long episodes, each of which will tell a standalone story with no recurring plot elements or actors.

Each episode will tell the stories of people in contemporary times who believe they are descendants of the imperial family that ruled Russia from 1613 until 1917.

Medici: Masters of Florence
Daniel Sharman (“Teen Wolf”) and Bradley James (“Merlin”) have joined the cast of Netflix’s “Medici: Masters of Florence” for the upcoming eight-episode second season of the Italian period drama.

Sharman will take the lead role, playing a young Lorenzo the Magnificent in 15th century Florence while James will star as his brother Giuliano. Sean Bean, Julian Sands, Sebastian De Souza, Raul Bova and Sarah Parish co-star in the new season which is set two decades after the first.
