HBO have announced a February 18th 2014 release date for the third season DVD and Blu-ray sets for “Game of Thrones”.

While the main unit has the ‘Dragon shadow’ cover used in the S3 promo posters, the network is running poll for the Special Edition Best Buy box-sets. Head to Facebook to vote.

Hell on Wheels
Heavy rains have forced AMC’s “Hell on Wheels” to stop production halfway through shooting the show’s third season. The set in Calgary, Canada is reportedly in danger of being damaged by floods.

Crew and equipment have been moved to higher ground with production expected to resume in two days. The new season goes to air later this year. [Source: Ace Showbiz]

Mad Men
The season finale of AMC’s “Mad Men” pulled in 2.7 million viewers on Sunday night, on par with last year’s finale.

With DVR playback, the show has been averaging 1.5 million extra viewers per episode. The final season of “Mad Men” airs next summer. [Source: Variety]

The CW network has announced its fall premiere dates with all its shows being held back until the second and third week of October. The premiere dates are:

Tuesday October 15th: The Originals, Supernatural

“Spooks” writers/producers Simon Mirren and David Wolstencroft are set to rewrite the twelve-episode English-language period drama series “Versailles” for Canal Plus.
