Jesus Christ Superstar
NBC has ordered a live production of the Broadway musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” that will premiere on Easter Sunday April 1st 2018.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice will executive produce with Marc Platt, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. The musical will follow on from a telecast of “Bye Bye Birdie” in December. [Source: The Live Feed]

Room 104
HBO has set a Friday, July 28th premiere date for the Duplass Brothers’ anthology comedy series “Room 104”. The series is set in a single room of an average American motel that tells a different story of the assorted characters who pass through it in each episode.

Among the actors to be featured are James Van Der Beek, Mae Whitman, Orlando Jones, Nat Wolff, Amy Landecker, Melonie Diaz, Dendrie Taylor, Tony Todd and Keir Gilchrist. [Source: Deadline]

CBS has released the first trailer for its Summer action series “Salvation” which deals with an asteroid hurtling towards Earth and how an MIT grad student, a billionaire, and the Pentagon try to stop it. The series kicks off July 12th.
