The Strain
Several new photos are out from “The Strain,” the upcoming FX series based on the novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan.

The high concept thriller series is currently aiming for a five to six season run to adapt the novel series about a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. [Source: STYD]

Under the Dome
CBS has announced a Monday June 30th premiere for the second season of “Under the Dome,” and a Wednesday July 2nd premiere for the new Halle Berry-led mystery thriller series “Extant”. [Source: CBS]

Veronica Mars
The CW and Rob Thomas are teaming to produce a “Veronica Mars”-themed Web series for the CW Seed website. The concept and potential returning actors are unknown at this point.

The project is expected to consist of six to eight 10-minute segments to premiere this year, though likely after the new film comes out in March. [Source: The Live Feed]

Real Time with Bill Maher
Ahead of its 2014 season premiere this Friday, HBO has renewed “Real Time with Bill Maher” for a 13th season to air in 2015.

As per usual, the season will run for 35 episodes over the course of the year. With time-shifting, OnDemand and HBO Go views, the series recently averaged 4.1 million viewers per episode. [Source: HBO]
