The Spanish Princess
Starz has premiered the first trailer for their historical event series “The Spanish Princess,” the third chapter of a royal saga following “The White Queen” and “The White Princess”. The new series premieres in the Spring.

This one jumps well ahead in time and focuses on Catherine of Aragon (Charlotte Hope), who comes to England to marry Tudor Prince Arthur (Angus Imrie). But, things don’t work out as planned and she ultimately marries his younger brother Henry (Ruairi O’Connor).

The Undoing
Noah Jupe (“A Quiet Place,” “Suburbicon”) has been cast in the HBO limited series “The Undoing” joining the previously announced Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and Donald Sutherland. Susanne Bier (“Bird Box,” “The Night Manager”) helms the six-episode series.

Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel “You Should Have Known,” Kidman plays a successful New York therapist with a devoted husband and young son. Overnight, a violent death, a missing husband and a chain of terrible revelations lead her to dismantle her old life and creating another for her child and herself. [Source: Variety]

Dare Me
USA Network has handed out a series order for a TV adaptation of Megan Abbott’s novel “Dare Me” which is set in the world of competitive high school cheerleading. Herizen Guardiola, Marlo Kelly, Willa Fitzgerald, Rob Heaps, Zach Roerig and Paul Fitzgerald co-star.

The story follows the fraught relationship between two best friends after a new coach arrives to bring their team to prominence. Their young lives are changed forever when a shocking crime rocks their quiet suburban world. Abbott, Gina Fattore, Peter Berg and Michael Lombardo executive produce. [Source: Variety]

HBO has released the trailer for the second season of their multiple Emmy award-winning dark comedy series “Barry”. Bill Hader returns as the depressed hitman who finds his purpose in L.A. when he becomes an actor and wants out of the hitman life. The series returns sometime in the Spring.
