Sleepy Hollow
FOX is reportedly extending the length of the second season of its supernatural-historical drama “Sleepy Hollow”. The show’s first season ran for thirteen episodes and initially the second was renewed for the same.

Producers now say that at least fifteen episodes will be produced for the second season, and plans are underway for a potential total of eighteen episodes. [Source: EW]

The Red Tent
Lifetime is slated to produce a four-hour Biblical mini-series adaptation of Anita Diamant’s 1997 novel “The Red Tent”. Rebecca Ferguson, Minnie Driver, Iain Glen, Will Tudor, Morena Baccarin and Debra Winger lead the cast with filming to begin this month in Morocco.

Ferguson plays Dinah, the daughter of Leah and Jacob, who goes on to marry a prince and fall out with her murderous brother Joseph (Tudor). [Source: Deadline]

Ahead of next week’s up-fronts, NBC has picked up three new dramas and one new comedy to series as well as renewing its on the bubble “Law and Order: SVU”. The comedy is “Marry Me” starring Casey Wilson and Ken Marino.

The dramas include “State of Affairs” about a CIA analyst (Katherine Heigl) who forms a friendship with the U.S. President (Alfre Woodard), “Allegiance” which follows covert Russian spies (Scott Cohen, Hope Davis) planning a terrorist operation in the United States, and the Traffic-like action-drama “Odyssey” starring Anna Friel and Peter Facinelli. TNT has handed out ten episode series orders to dramas “Proof” and “Public Morals” which will both premiere in 2015. Jennifer Beals stars in “Proof” as a skeptical, hard-science female surgeon investigating proof of life after death.

Kyra Sedgwick and Ed Burns will produce the 1960s cop drama ‘Morals’ starring Beals, Matthew Modine, Joe Morton, Callum Blue, Edi Gathegi, Annie Thurman, Sean Gleeson and Caroline Rose Kaplan. [Source: The Live Feed]
