Scream Queens
“Agent Carter” star Chad Michael Murray is set to guest star on Fox’s freshman horror-comedy “Scream Queens”. The new series premieres September 22nd.

Murray will play Brad Radwell, the Hollywood talent agent older brother of Dollar Scholars frat brat Chad Radwell (Glen Powell). [Source: TV Line]

Roots
Forest Whitaker, Anna Paquin, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Anika Noni Rose, Derek Luke and Chad L. Coleman have all joined the cast of the remake of the “Roots” four-night, eight-hour miniseries on A+E.

Mario Van Peebles, Phillip Noyce, Thomas Carter and Bruce Beresford will direct episodes of the project which also stars Laurence Fishburne, Malachi Kirby and Rege-Jean Page. Filming is now underway in New Orleans and South Africa. [Source: The Live Feed]

w. Bob and David
Netflix has announced a November 13th premiere date for Bob Odenkirk and David Cross’ sketch comedy show “W. Bob and David” on the streaming service.

Odenkirk and Cross reunite for four new 30-minute episodes, the pair having worked together on “Mr. Show with Bob and David” on HBO back in the late 1990s. [Source: Variety]

Law & Order You The Jury
NBC has handed out a series order to “Law & Order: You the Jury,” an unscripted doco-series extension of the franchise. Real-life legal cases play out on a live TV courtroom and viewers determine the verdict.

Audiences will also be prompted to engage in the proceedings throughout the hour, and will be able to weign in on both witness and evidence veracity. [Source: The Live Feed]

American Crime Story
FX has released a video teaser for “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” which premieres early next year. The ten-episode series is the first in a new anthology series that will depict a new crime saga each year.
