Black Sails
Starz has released two early teaser promos, poster art, and a January air date for the Michael Bay-produced pirate drama series “Black Sails”.

The eight-episode first season is set twenty years before events in Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island” and revolves around Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and his men. [Source: The Live Feed]

The IT Crowd
Writer/director Graham Linehan has officially confirmed that the forty-minute finale special of Brit sitcom “The IT Crowd” is due to begin filming in three weeks.

The reason that it took so long is that scheduling actors Chris O’Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry has proven a challenge. [Source: Bleeding Cool]

FX has announced that its sitcom “Wilfred” will return at 10pm on June 20th.

The network has also scheduled back-to-back episodes of the half-hour comedy in its first two weeks on the air. [Source: Zap2It]

American Dream Machine
Showtime is developing a series based on Matthew Specktor’s novel “American Dream Machine” which “Dexter” actor Michael C. Hall will executive produce.

Set in 1970s Hollywood and the present day, the story follows a talent agent and his troubled sons. [Source: The Live Feed]
