Star Wars: Rebels
At last, it has been revealed that Disney’s upcoming in-canon animated series “Star Wars Rebels” is currently targeting a premiere in October this year on the Disney Channel before moving to its regular home on Disney XD. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD
ABC has posted the official gag reel for the first season of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” online, and it seems Ming-Na Wen is the biggest comedian of the cast. The clip was screened at the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con this past week and will be included on the first season disc set on September 9th.

The Following
The Comic Con panel for FOX’s “The Following” confirmed that the TV series is essentially getting a minor reboot for the third season with Joe Carroll no longer the focus of the action. During this weekend’s Comic Con panel for the series, new show runner Jennifer Johnson describes it thus (via Digital Spy):

“In episode one we find that Ryan has looked at every case, just to make sure it isn’t Joe Carroll related. There’s a brand new threat that throws New York under a lockdown. The city will be a character and we’ll see urban paranoia and the disintegration of the city. Ryan will go to Mendez (Valerie Cruz) and suggest that a task force be established. Season 3 will be Hitchcockian: What’s lurking around the corner, and what you see the aftermath as.”

The Blacklist
Mary-Louise Parker (“RED,” “Weeds”) is keeping busy, the actress is set to join two NBC series – the eight-episode event series remake of the 2011 Australian mini-series “The Slap,” and the network’s flagship drama series “The Blacklist”.

In ‘Slap,’ Parker will play Anouk, a TV writer dating her show’s younger leading man. In “The Blacklist,” she’ll play a character named Naomi Highland who is completely tied to James Spader’s Red Reddington. [Source: Deadline]
