The Last Post
Amazon has set a December 22nd U.S. premiere date and unveiled a trailer for the six episode drama series “The Last Post” which which airs on BBC One in the UK. Jessica Raine, Jessie Buckley, Jeremy Neumark Jones, Amanda Drew, Ben Miles and Stephen Campbell Moore star.

Peter Moffat created the series set during the social and political unrest of the mid-sixties, in the simmering heat of Aden in Yemen. The story centers on the lives of a unit of Royal Military Police officers and their families. [Source: Amazon]

Wilson Bethel (“Hart of Dixie,” “Bates Motel”) has been cast in the third season of Marvel and Netflix’s “Daredevil” in a series regular role. The character will reportedly portray an FBI agent who will play a critical role in the conflict between Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Daredevil and could be the comics character Sin-Eater. Jersey Shore
MTV has announced it plans to revive its reality series “Jersey Shore” with the original cast members all returning for the new episodes due in 2018. The original “Jersey Shore” ran for six seasons on MTV from 2009 to 2012 and followed the alcohol-fueled adventures of a group of friends sharing a New Jersey beach house. [Source: Variety]

Black Lightning
During the first night of this year’s four-part crossover of CW DC series, the network released a super quick promo for their new DC comics inspired series “Black Lightning” which premieres January 16th.
