TV News: Poirot, Ripper, Escape, Ja’mie

24 years after the show began, ITV will rollout the final episodes of “Agatha Christie’s Poirot” with “The Big Four” premiering on Wednesday October 23rd at 8pm on ITV.

This first of four telemovies also marks the return of three previous series regulars – Hastings, Miss Lemon and Inspector Japp – who haven’t been a part of the show since 2001.

Along with the new still on the right, ITV have unveiled a new trailer for the final four episodes – mostly a compilation of clips from various old episodes across the last two decades.

Ripper Street
The eight-episode, second series of the Victorian-era crime drama “Ripper Street” has scored a premiere date in the U.K. of Monday October 28th at 9pm.

Damien Molony (“Being Human”) and Joseph Mawle (“Game of Thrones”) join the cast this season as a young cop and a new inspector respectively. Joseph Drake will appear as the real life Joseph Merrick (aka. the Elephant Man) who becomes involved in an investigation. [Source: TV Wise]
