Parks and Recreation
NBC has announced their plans for the seventh and final season of the Amy Poehler, Adam Scott and Chris Pratt-led comedy series “Parks and Recreation”.

The show will return to the schedule on January 13th and will air two episodes back-to-back each week starting at 8pm on Tuesdays. It will then run for seven weeks leading to the series finale on February 24th. [Source: The Live Feed]

The Last Man on Earth
January Jones (“X-Men”), Mel Rodriguez (“Getting On”), Kristen Schaal (“Flight of the Conchords”) and Cleopatra Coleman (“Step Up Revolution”) have joined the cast of FOX’s midseason single-camera comedy series “The Last Man on Earth”.

“22 Jump Street” helmer Phil Lord and Chris Miller directed the pilot for the straight-to-series project about an average guy (Will Forte) who searches the entire United States for any signs of other living humans after an unknown event wipes out the entire population of Earth. [Source: Deadline]

Downton Abbey
ITV has posted the first clip, one that runs all of eight seconds, from George Clooney’s upcoming appearance in a “Downton Abbey” charity special.

The full sketch is due to be broadcast in the U.K. on December 18th as part of ITV’s “Text Santa” charity appeal. Clooney’s character reportedly tries to kiss the Dowager Countess (Maggie Smith) in the piece. [Source: THR]

Starz has begun development of “Storyville,” a drama series set in New Orleans around the turn of the 20th century. George C. Wolfe (“Nights in Rodanthe,” “Lackawanna Blues”) will write and direct.
