Orphan Black
BBC America’s “Orphan Black” has astonished analysts, its Live+3 day ratings doubling its total viewer and 25-54 audience compared with its Live+Same Day ratings.

That shifted audience totaled 1.57 million for the premiere telecast and three weekend replays, making it the network’s second highest rated series in 18-49 year olds behind only “Doctor Who”. [Source: Zap2It]

The Leftovers
HBO has pushed back its upcoming series “The Leftovers” by two weeks from a June 15th to a June 29th premiere. The delay is likely due to a brief production hiatus that has taken place in prep for the first season’s final episodes.

There’s been several teasers so far, but the first full trailer is due to air tonight with this week’s episode of “Game of Thrones”. [Source: HBO]

Composer Jeff Beal (“House of Cards,” “Rome”) has come aboard to score the CBS Steven Spielberg-produced series “Extant” starring Halle Berry. The show is going straight-to-series and premieres July 9th.

Berry plays an astronaut who returns home from a year-long solo mission in space and tries to reconnect with her husband and son. Her experiences lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history. [Source: Deadline]

House of Cards
Media Rights Capital, has reached an agreement with the state of Maryland to keep the Kevin Spacey series in the state.

“House of Cards” will receive a total of $11.5 million in 2014 through a combination of both the tax incentive program and an additional $7.5 million in grants authorized to be taken from the 2015 fiscal year budget. [Source: THR]
