Now Apocalypse
Starz has decided to switch up its plans for Gregg Araki‘s surreal stoner comedy “Now Apocalypse” and have released the entire first season on streaming now through all its non-linear platforms including the Starz app, Starz On-Demand, and StarzPlay. The series has been getting good buzz, but the shift is unexpected even as it’s a good move to bring in binge watchers otherwise waiting until the season ends to start consuming. Gentleman Jack
HBO has released the trailer for the period drama “Gentleman Jack” about West Yorkshire landowner Anne Lister who attempts to transform her ancestral home by reopening coal mines and marrying well – albeit not to a man. Suranne Jones, Sophie Rundle, Gemma Whelan, Gemma Jones and Timothy West co-star in the project which hits HBO on April 22.

Cherish the Day
OWN has handed out a straight-to-series order for Ava DuVernay’s new anthology drama series “Cherish the Day” which chronicles the romance of one couple, with each episode spanning a single day. The season-long narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel people to hold true to the ones they love, from the extraordinary to the everyday. Netflix has premiered the official trailer for Kevin Hart’s debut stand-up special “Kevin Hart: Irresponsible” in which he deals with infidelity in his second marriage and his parenting style. The special releases on April 2nd.

The Politician
Netflix has announced a September 27th premiere date for Ryan Murphy’s new dark comedy series “The Politician” along with releasing the show’s first poster art. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Lange, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton and Bob Balaban co-star.

Ben Platt plays Payton Hobart, a wealthy student from Santa Barbara who aims to get elected Student Body President, secure a spot at Harvard, and stay on his singular path to the U.S. Presidency. Payton will have to outsmart his ruthless classmates without sacrificing his own morality and carefully crafted image.
