How I Met Your Mother
CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” closed out its nine-season run on Monday night with series highs ratings. The one-hour finale was the most-watched to date with 12.9 million viewers and a 5.3 rating in the key demo rating. [Source: THR]

24: Live Another Day
Amazon’s Prime Instant Video has scored exclusive streaming rights for all eight seasons of Fox’s “24” and will be the only SVOD service to offer event series “24: Live Another Day” later this year.

Netflix’s rights to past seasons of the series expires today. The deal comes as Amazon announced orders yesterday for six series, including Chris Carter’s supernatural drama “The After.” [Source: Variety]

The Walking Dead
AMC’s zombie drama “The Walking Dead” scored 15.7 million total viewers on Sunday, making it the series’ most-watched season finale ever – up 27% compared with last year’s Season 3 finale. Whilst well above the season average of 13.3 million, it’s not quite the record 16.1 million viewers the show pulled in for the Season 4 premiere back in October last year.

Meanwhile cast members Andrew J. West (Gareth), Alanna Masterson (Tara), and Christian Serratos (Rosita) have been promoted to regulars next season. [Source: The L.A. Times]

Nurse Jackie
Ahead of its sixth season premiere, Showtime has given the Edie Falco-led dark comedy an early seventh season renewal with filming to begin in New York later this year. Clyde Phillips will also continue as showrunner after closing a new two-year overall deal with Lionsgate TV. [Source: THR]

Halt and Catch Fire
AMC have unveiled the first trailer for its early 1980s series “Halt And Catch Fire” which premieres June 1st. The story explores the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, Joe (Lee Pace); an engineer, Gordon (Scoot McNairy); and a prodigy, Cameron (Mackenzie Davis) whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time.
