“Legion” and “Outlander” writer Jennifer Yale is adapting Chuck Palahniuk’s novel “Invisible Monsters” into a television series for Fabrik Entertainment. Henrik Bastin and Melissa Aouate are executive producing.
The series centers on a fashion model who has everything: perfect boyfriend, thriving career, loyal best friend – until a freeway accident leaves her disfigured and mute. She is soon perceived as an invisible monster. Enter Brandy Alexander, one operation away from becoming a woman who teaches the now-former fashion model that reinventing one’s self means erasing one’s past and making up something better.
