TV News: Lost, Dead, Treatment

Apparently so much crucial material has been shot for the show’s hugely anticipated series finale that ABC has agreed to extend the last episode by an extra half hour reports The Live Feed.

The finale, which just wrapped post-production this past Monday, is now scheduled to run from 9pm-11:30pm on Sunday May 23rd. The previously announced “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost” post-finale special will now air 12:05am after local news.

The producers have also revealed that they built several new sets just for the finale, and that followers may left with more questions than they might expect – “We’re trying to end lost in a way that feels ‘Lost’-ian and fair and will generate a tremendous amount of theorising.”

Walking Dead
Laurie Holden (“The Mist,” “Silent Hill”) has joined the cast of Frank Darabont’s apocalyptic zombie drama “The Walking Dead” on AMC reports Reuters.

Holden plays Andrea, a key member of the survivor group who has a proficiency with a sniper rifle and falls for a man twice her age. Steven Yeun has also joined the cast though the role is unspecified.

In Treatment
Debra Winger (“Terms of Endearment,” “An Officer and a Gentleman”) has joined the cast of HBO’s “In Treatment” next season reports Digital Spy.

The actress will play a patient of Gabriel Byrne’s psychotherapist character – a former star who is battling insecurities about her career.
