TV News: Longmire, Witches, Dusk, Fox, Syfy

A&E has officially renewed “Longmire” for a ten-episode third season. The show averaged 3.7 million viewers during its recent second season this Summer, hitting a peak with the finale at 4.4 million viewers.

Witches of East End
Lifetime has picked up supernatural drama “Witches of East End” for a second season. The renewal is for thirteen episodes slated to premiere in 2014. The current season runs through December 15th. [Source: The Live Feed

From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series
Wilmer Valderrama has joined the cast of “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” on the El Rey Network. Valderrama plays Carlos Madrigal, the master villain and crime lord of the series who is a former Spanish Conquistador.

The ten-episode series revolves around bank robber Seth Gecko (D.J. Cotrona) and his violent, unpredictable brother Richard “Richie” Gecko (Zane Holtz) as they end up at a bar filled with vampires. [Source: The Live Feed]

FOX has pulled the comedies “The Mindy Project” and “Dads” from its schedule. ‘Mindy’ will go on a break from January 28th to April 1st. ‘Dads’ will be pulled on February 11th and does not yet have a return date. “Glee” will be moved into their place.

Syfy has announced its midseason schedule with the new seasons of “Lost Girl,” “Being Human,” and the new drama “Bitten” all set to premiere on January 13th at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm respectively.
