Lifetime has released the first official still from their upcoming TV movie “Liz & Dick” about the on-again, off-again romance and marriages of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Game of Thrones
HBO closed out the second season of “Game of Thrones” on a series high with 4.2 million viewers tuning in for the 9pm showing – up from 3.0M for last year’s season finale. An additional 910,000 viewers watched the 11:00pm replay.

‘Thrones’ is now pulling in a season average gross audience of 10.4 million viewers per episode (including linear, on-demand and DVR play), making it the third most-watched series in the history of HBO behind only “The Sopranos” and “True Blood”. [Source: Deadline]

HBO wasn’t the only cable network enjoying success last night. The series debut of “Longmire” on A&E pulled in 4.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched original series premiere in the network’s history. [Source: The Live Feed]

Mockingbird Lane
“Sliders” and “Piranha 3D” star Jerry O’Connell is set to play Herman Munster in “1313 Mockingbird Lane”, the upcoming ‘dark and edgy’ reboot of classic 60’s comedy “The Munsters” on NBC.

Herman was the patriarch of the family memorably played by Fred Gwynne in the original. He joins the currently cast Eddie Izzard as Grandpa Munster and Mason Cook as the werewolf son Eddie. [Source: WP]
