Legends of Tomorrow
Actress Olivia Swann has been promoted to a series regular for the fifth season of “Legends of Tomorrow” on The CW. Swann guest-starred last season the Hell-residing adult version of Astra Logue, the young child whom was sent to hell after John Constantine’s failed exorcism.

Former “Beverly Hills 90210” star Shannen Doherty and “Dawson’s Creek” actor Kerr Smith will join the cast of The CW’s “Riverdale” for its upcoming fourth season. Doherty will guest star in the season premiere episode which serves as a tribute to the late Luke Perry. Her role is said to be a “pivotal, super-emotional” one.

Smith meanwhile will take on the recurring role of Riverdale High’s new principal Mr. Honey, dubbed a “hard-ass who takes a harder line with the students this year, especially with the seniors”. He’ll start appearing from the second episode. [Source: Variety]
