The Crown
Erin Doherty (“Call the Midwife”) will play Princess Anne, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, in the third season of Netflix drama series “The Crown” which was created by Peter Morgan. The series is currently filming its third season which is set to debut in 2019 and features a whole new cast taking over the key roles from the first two seasons. [Source: The Live Feed]

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
Courtney Ford’s Nora Darhk is set to return for DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” in a series regular capacity. Nora started last season as one of the primary villains but ultimately was reformed and though arrested by the Time Bureau, Ray gave her the time stone which means she wouldn’t be held captive for long. Steven S. DeKnight
Netflix has closed a multi-year overall deal with “Daredevil” first season showrunner and “Pacific Rim Uprising” director Steven S. DeKnight. DeKnight, who also worked on “Spartacus,” “Buffy” and “Angel” in their heyday, will develop future original series for the streaming giant along with other projects. [Source: THR]

The Couple Next Door
Paramount Television, Anonymous Content and Sugar23 have optioned the rights to Shari Lapena’s bestselling thriller novel “The Couple Next Door” with plans to develop it as a television series from playwright Lila Feinberg (“Younger”)

The story follows three couples, living in the same apartment building in Manhattan, as their lives intertwine and unfold in the aftermath of a dinner party that ends in a shocking crime. [Source: TV Line]

The CW’s “Dynasty” reboot is losing star Nathalie Kelley, who plays Cristal, with the actress confirming she won’t return for next season. Cristal, Alexis and Michael’s fates were left up in the air in the first season finale which ended with the three still trapped in a fire after Cristal also had been shot. [Source: Deadline]
