The Legend of Master Legend
John Hawkes (“Deadwood,” “The Sessions”) is in negotiations to play the lead in Amazon’s half-hour comedy pilot “The Legend of Master Legend” which James Ponsoldt (“The Spectacular Now”) will helm. Shooting begins next month.

Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster will executive produce the project and penned the story in which Hawkes play a man who tries to defend justice and defeat wrongdoers on the Las Vegas Strip. [Source: Deadline]

German actress Bella Dayne (“Humans,” “Man in the High Castle”) has joined the cast of John Ridley’s six-episode limited series “Guerrilla” which is currently filming in London. Idris Elba and Freida Pinto star in the film set in 1970s UK during the birth of the Black Power movement.

A politically active couple and their idealism are tested when they form a guerrilla cell dedicated to fighting back against a racist police force. Dayne will play Eliette, a member of a radical group lying low in London. [Source: Deadline]

Stick Man
The CW has reportedly put the supernatural drama “Stick Man” into development with “Heroes” writer-executive producer Tim Kring and “Helix” creator Cameron Prosandeh behind the new project. Justin Levy and Dan Friedkin will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios.

The story follows an amateur documentarian who returns to her hometown to chronicle the events of her brother’s murder and the ensuing trial. While there, she finds herself increasingly sympathetic to the convicted killer, ultimately discovering evidence that links her brother’s death to supernatural events. [Source: The Wrap]

Following the season three premiere, FOX has released the promo for next week’s episode of “Gotham”. Fish Mooney looks into Hugo Strange, Penguin’s anti-GCPD rhetoric gains traction and Bruce Wayne finds his investigation into the Court of Owls compromised. The new episode premieres on Monday.
