Jesus Christ Superstar
Multi-Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles has been cast as Mary Magdalene in NBC’s upcoming live version of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Deep-voiced veteran actor Colin McFarlane, probably best known for his role as Police Commissioner Loeb in Chris Nolan’s “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight,” has joined the cast of the fourth season of Starz’s “Outlander”.

McFarlane plays Ulysses, the butler of the River Run plantation in North Carolina. He is a well-educated and musically inclined man who was sold into slavery when he was young and was acquired by Hector Cameron and becomes the trusted servant of Hector’s wife and Jaime’s aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy). Not unsurprisingly, all six seasons of ABC’s “Lost” have moved from Netflix to Hulu following the right expiring and lapsing back to Disney (who owns much of Hulu). As of this week, all 121 episodes of the series are available to Hulu subscribers – a shift from its home at Netflix where it has resided since even before the show went off the air in 2010.
