FX CEO John Landgraf has confirmed the drama series will close out next season. He says: “It was really Graham [Yost, executive producer] and Tim Olyphant’s decision. We talked about it a year ago and they felt that the arc of the show and what they had to say [fit better with six rather than seven seasons]. Regretfully, that’s their decision.” [Source: Deadline]

CBS has ordered to pilot the Tad Quill half-hour single-camera comedy “Taxi-22,” based on the French Canadian hit of the same name.

The story centers on a misanthropic and politically incorrect NYC cab driver. The late James Gandolfini was previously attached as an executive producer. [Source: THR]

Marco Polo
Netflix have announced a late 2014 premiere for the ten episode “Marco Polo” series they picked up last Summer after Starz let it go. The Weinstein Company and produced series will begin filming shortly at Pinewood Studios, Malaysia.

The project comes from John Fusco, “Kon-Tiki” directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, “Game of Thrones” and “True Blood” helmer Dan Minahan, and “Hidalgo” and “Young Guns” writer John Fusco. [Source: Netflix]
