TV News: Helix, Justified, Men, Fargo

The first photos are out from “Helix,” Galactica showrunner Ron Moore’s new series for Syfy which premieres sometime next year. Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky and Mark Ghanime star.

The story centers on a team of scientists from the CDC who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible outbreak. There, they get caught in a life-and-death struggle that could change mankind’s fate. [Click here for more photos]

Michael Rapaport, Alicia Witt and Edi Gathegi have all joined the cast of the fifth season of FX’s “Justified,” and all play a part of the season’s antagonists – the fictional Crowe family.

Rapaport is Dale Crowe Jr., a gator farm owner and patriarch of the Florida crime family. Witt play Dale’s sexy paralegal sister Wendy who toys with Raylan (Timothy Olyphant). Gathegi is Jean Baptiste, a former Haitian criminal and Dale’s enforcer. [Source: Examiner]

Two and a Half Men
Amber Tamblyn’s long-lost lesbian daughter character Jenny is set to become a series regular on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men”.

Colin Hanks has signed on to co-star in FX’s limited series “Fargo” based on the Coen brothers film. Martin Freeman plays a small-town insurance salesman whose life is changed when a mysterious stranger (Billy Bob Thornton) comes to town.

Hanks will play a single dad police deputy who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty when he comes face-to-face with a killer. [Source: Deadline]
