TV News: Hawaii, Wolf, Lost, Glee

Hawaii Five-O
A short featurette about the upcoming remake of the Hawaii-set cop series is out giving us a first glimpse of footage from the series.

Quite interesting (and divisive) though is the new look opening credits and theme song which contains quite a few shots faithful to the original series’ opening credits.

Teen Wolf
MTV has announced a full series order for its upcoming TV series remake of the 1985 Michael J. Fox comedy “Teen Wolf” reports The Live Feed.

Tyler Posey takes on the title role of the student who becomes a werewolf.

Lost
In an attempt to minimise piracy, the 2.5 hour series finale of “Lost” will be simultaneously broadcast in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Canada – regardless of international time differences reports Variety.

59 countries are expected to air the final episode of “Lost” no later than 48 hours after the U.S. broadcast.

Glee
TV bosses have approached Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle’s representatives in a bid to convince her to make a guest appearance on the series reports Contact Music.

Showrunner Ryan Murphy wants her to play a lunch lady – “I think (the character) Kurt would just die to give her a Christmas makeover. I don’t even know if she’s interested but it’s been pitched.”
